At Asostartup, we aim to ensure a fair and secure marketplace for both Buyers and Sellers.
Refunds are handled carefully to maintain trust and transparency within the platform.

This policy explains when a refund may be issued and the conditions that apply.


2. Eligibility for Refunds

A Buyer may request a refund under the following conditions:

A. Service Not Delivered

A refund may be approved if:

  • The Seller fails to deliver the service within the agreed delivery time.
  • The Seller refuses to communicate or provide updates.

B. Incomplete or Low-Quality Delivery

A refund may be issued if:

  • The delivered work does not match the service description.
  • The work is clearly incomplete or unusable.
  • The Seller breaks platform rules or uses copyrighted materials illegally.

C. Wrong Service Delivered

If the Seller provides a different service than what was ordered, the Buyer may be eligible for a refund.


3. Cases Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Buyer changed their mind after service delivery
  • Buyer initiated the order by mistake but the Seller already started working
  • Subjective claims (e.g., “I didn’t like the style” after proper delivery)
  • Services delivered exactly as described
  • Situations where the Buyer fails to provide required information
  • Digital goods already downloaded or used
  • Misuse of the refund system to avoid payment
  • Personal preference or unrealistic expectations

4. Dispute Resolution Process

If a Buyer and Seller cannot resolve an issue, Asostartup will step in.

Steps:

  1. Buyer opens a dispute from the order page
  2. Seller provides evidence of communication and delivery
  3. Asostartup reviews both sides
  4. Final decision is made by Asostartup

All refund decisions made by Asostartup are final.


5. How Refunds Are Processed

  • Refunds are issued through the same payment method used for the transaction (if supported).
  • In some cases, refunds may be issued as Asostartup credit.
  • Processing times vary depending on the payment gateway or bank.

6. Seller Violations

A refund may be automatically approved if the Seller:

  • Uses copyrighted work without permission
  • Violates platform rules
  • Delivers harmful, plagiarized, or AI-generated content without disclosure
  • Shares fake or inappropriate files
  • Uses abusive behavior

7. Cancellation Policy

Before Project Starts:

  • Buyer can request cancellation anytime before the Seller begins work.
  • Full refund may be issued.

After Project Starts:

  • Cancellation depends on how much progress is made.
  • Partial refunds may apply.

8. Chargebacks

If a Buyer opens a chargeback with their bank or payment provider:

  • Their Asostartup account may be suspended
  • All ongoing orders may be cancelled
  • Chargeback investigations will be handled according to payment gateway rules
